Approach Football Like An Investor
& Have Your Best Season Yet!
Hi, my name is Daniel Hewitt ex stock analyst at a major firm in "the city" and football lover since my earliest memories allow. I've retired early from the financial markets at just 44 and have decided to combine my knowledge of investment with my love of football to bring you... The Football Investors Club.
In my past life, time was precious, spare time was non-existant so I've tried numerous tipsters over the years and they all seem to follow the same pattern, they look for the same bet every week, be it an ACCA, singles, doubles, or they focus on the same market week in week out. Most will focus on a single league too.
Thats not how things work, not in investments and definitely not in football, you need diversity in your portfolio and seeing a severe lack of this in the tipping world gave me the idea to start my own service.
In the finance world we're used to working with little margins and making these count, with the right plan in place you can use the same small margins or odds in the world of football betting to make big profits.
Managing Risk & Bet Types!
When it comes to investing or betting everything comes down to risk, if we're buying stock or placing a bet we're risking our money to see a return.
What separates success is being able to manage that risk.
In both worlds that means not putting all your eggs in one basket and especially in the betting world it means having a betting bank in place. This is the amount of money you have "invested" to make a profit. Its no good wanting the same returns as someone else but only having a fraction of the capital available to you, a few poor calls will see a dip in most banks but wipe out others who are trying to get by with only a couple of bets outlay available.
My advice is to select your investment amount first, then work out how much you should be placing per bet.
I run a 1-5 point system and start with 100 points.
So for me an investment of £5,000 means that 1 point is equal to £50. I will advise bets at 1 point up to 5 points as a maximum. When it comes to multiples I'll even use fractional points which are then multiplied by bet type.
An example of this would be a patent bet, this involves 3 selections but the patent covers the singles, doubles and treble outcome, in fact its an easy way to place 7 bets across the 3 selections, so a 0.5 point bet, would be a total of 3.5 points total.
Value - Less Risk For Higher Rewards
One thing betting markets allow in plenty is value, less risk for higher rewards.
This comes in various forms, from having multiples to increase the odds of lower prices, likely outcomes, to markets that require specific outcomes in games.
I don't limit what I bet on, from the leagues and competitions to the bet types.
Why would we? Why not bet on the Spanish League, why not bet on Internationals or cup games or the lower leagues.
When there are obvious chances to make money, we take them.
Using Data, Models & Trends To Profit
These are all key aspects of being a trader, analyst and investor.
When it comes to football its not about global factors effecting the price of oil or wheat, its about which teams are performing, which teams have injuries, is a team winning at home and struggling away or vice versa, is there an opponent miss-match. These are all things that I keep a close eye on and look at before making my selections.
As I mentioned earlier, I use a 1 point to 5 point approach, meaning the more a bet has going for it, the higher the stake becomes. I'll not call it confidence, as no bet I am not 100% confident in would ever have my money on it, thats not an investors approach.
When Do I Start Betting?
The last "season" ended at the end of the Copa America.
We'll be starting the next season with European competition qualifiers and the Olympics, shortly afterwards in August we'll see more competitions starting.
We're underway, here's the winners so far...
Winners
Summary
So far we've seen 6/9 winners (66.66%)
Losers (3) were all 2pt stakes.
Profit of £307.39
Saturday Update:
2 more winners and a return, although not profitable, from the patent.
That now puts us at 8/12 wins (66%)
Profit of £488.64

Lets talk price. I believe this service is worth £200 for a season's access, even betting at £10 / point, would make that a worthwhile investment but I understand that if you've not been a member before, not seen how I work and how much we profit, paying that much up front in the current climate would be some ask on my behalf.
So with that in mind and also the fact that if you are thinking like an investor and you'd like to test the waters with small stakes first, here's what I'll do...
I'll give you the tips from the day you join up to the end of this year, 31st December 2024.
This will allow you to test the tips over multiple months - whether you paper trade to use small stakes.
It will also give you a set point where you can re-assess your investment if you are happy with the progress and invest more at that point. Its no good seeing a few winners and instantly increasing what you stake without the correct bank in place, 5 months is plenty of time to see your starting bank grow and give you the confidence to invest more. You'll have seen the results and know what to expect in terms of winning runs and losing runs.
Sound fair?
So how much for access to the end of December?
I was thinking, 50% up front, or maybe even 25%, but lets just call it £37.00.
That's £37 for tips from now to the end of December, 5+ months of tips, under £7.50 per month. That means that with any starting bank from £100 up it would be a worthwhile investment.
Now, with that said, I don't want 100's of members, I want serious punters who get that not every bet will win but we will make a profit, sometimes this is instant, sometimes we need to get over a few losses but the profits will come.
If that's you and you want to profit live an investor on the football, then click below to take one of 100 places I'm offering right now...
